Subcontracting with Non-Profits in support of SEWP VI

Federal Merchants is preparing a response to the SEWP VI solicitation, offering solutions under Category A.

SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) is a government-wide contract administered by NASA. It provides streamlined access to critical technologies and solutions for all Federal Government agencies and their authorized subcontractors.

The solicitation requires offerors to subcontract with AbilityOne non-profit organizations, including SourceAmerica and the National Industries for the Blind (NIB). We look forward to the opportunities we’ll be able to pursue together for orders awarded under the designated NAICS.

The AbilityOne program provides products and services for the federal government and DoD by employing nearly 37,000 people who are blind or have significant disabilities.

For 50 years, SourceAmerica has been committed to providing “services that match specs and exceed expectations” while enabling a workforce of people with disabilities.” SourceAmerica offers a variety of services including Administrative Services, Contact Centers, IT Services, Electronic Recycling Services, Healthcare and Environmental Services, Records and Document Management Services, Staffing Services, and Facilities Management.

NIB aims to provide meaningful employment to working-age Americans who are blind by raising awareness about their mission and the unlimited capabilities of people who are blind.
